Please read these terms carefully before booking a tour with us.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a tour through varanasilocalguide.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Varanasi Local Guide (operated by Aman Kumar Maurya, Varanasi, India).
2. Booking and Payment
All bookings are confirmed only after successful payment through our secure Razorpay payment gateway.
Prices are displayed in USD for reference. Actual charges are processed in INR (Indian Rupees) at the equivalent rate.
Children under 12 years are charged at a fixed rate of ā¹450 per child.
A booking confirmation email with your reference number will be sent to your provided email address.
Please save your booking reference number ā it is required for any modifications or cancellations.
Group bookings of 5 or more guests should contact us directly via WhatsApp for custom pricing.
3. Tour Participation
Guests must arrive at the meeting point (St. Thomas Church /Kashi Cafe Assi Ghat) at least 15-20 minutes before the scheduled tour time.
Our guide will wait for a maximum of 40-50 minutes past the scheduled start time before beginning the tour.
Guests are expected to follow the guide's instructions at all times for safety and cultural respect.
Appropriate dress is required when entering temples and religious sites (covered shoulders and knees).
Photography restrictions in certain temples and cremation areas must be respected.
Varanasi Local Guide reserves the right to exclude any participant whose behaviour is disruptive or unsafe.
Participation in physical activities (boat rides, walking tours) is at the guest's own risk.
4. Health and Safety
Guests with pre-existing medical conditions, mobility limitations, or other health concerns should inform us before booking. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, but some activities may not be suitable for everyone. Walking tours involve uneven surfaces, steps, and varying terrain. Boat rides are subject to river conditions.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Our full cancellation and refund policy is available at varanasilocalguide.com/policy. By booking, you agree to the terms outlined in that policy.
6. Limitation of Liability
Varanasi Local Guide is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during tours.
We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or health incidents that occur during tour activities.
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by weather, government restrictions, or force majeure events.
Our total liability to any guest shall not exceed the amount paid for the tour booking.
7. Photography and Media
During tours, photographs may be taken for use in our marketing materials and website. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour. Guest-shared photos and reviews may be used on our website or social media with your permission.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
